Overview

As the Lead Brand Designer at Glassnode, I spearheaded a comprehensive brand overhaul to modernize the company’s visual identity and improve user engagement across digital and physical touchpoints. Leading a team of designers and collaborating with external freelancers, I was responsible for creating a cohesive brandbook that defined new colors, fonts, and the overall visual language. This redesign spanned multiple platforms, including a complete website revamp, social media templates for Twitter and LinkedIn, newsletters, reports, pitch decks, and conference stands. The new brand identity not only aligned more closely with the company's evolving vision but also provided a consistent and professional image across all communication channels.

Aproach

  • Research & Workshops: We conducted thorough market research and held tone of voice and brand definition workshops to align the visual identity with the company's new B2B focus and business goals.
  • Collaborative Design Development: Partnering closely with Małgosia Maślarz and Mayank Sharma, we developed a comprehensive brandbook and design system, ensuring seamless integration across products and marketing channels.
  • Iterative Process: Regular feedback loops with stakeholders guided refinements, allowing us to adapt the design as the project evolved.
  • Team Leadership: I led a design team and coordinated with external freelancers to maintain quality and meet deadlines, ensuring the new brand identity was consistently implemented across all touchpoints, including the website, social media, and conference materials.

    Results

    Project details

    We began with a Brand Discovery Workshop where we defined "the why," "the how," and "the what" of Glassnode. This process also involved establishing the brand personality and tone of voice. My team and I then generated multiple design proposals, refining them through presentations and iterations until we achieved the final result. My responsibilities included managing all brand assets, illustrations, marketing materials, and a full website redesign.

    The results were impressive:

    • A 30% higher open rate for e-newsletters
    • A 30% reduction in time required to launch new campaigns due to standardized templates
